The Pinewood Derby is happening on Saturday, March 24th!  The race itself will run from 2:30 to about 4pm in Lanigan Gym at Holy Rosary, but the doors will be open by 12:30 for registration or trial runs.  If you can’t be there for the actual race, don’t worry, you may still drop off your car to be run.

As usual, there will be awards for race winners, as well as several categories for car design (Most Creative, Most Realistic, Most Scout-Like, Funniest, Best Paint, and Most Futuristic), so everyone has a chance to win!   Don’t forget, siblings and parents are strongly encouraged to make a car to race!

Having trouble getting ready?  Have no fear, the Pack is hosting a PWD car building event in the School Hall at Holy Rosary on Wednesday 03/21 from 6:30 to 8:30pm.  All the tools you could need, plus expert advice will be on hand to help you build your best car yet!  We will also have some extra car kits, in case you need one.

Scouting For Food 2018!

It’s time again for us to get out and help the West Seattle Food Bank collect food for any of our neighbors in need.  We had a great year last year, and with a little effort, I’m sure we can collect even more food this year.  This is a great way for our Pack to put in some service hours.  There are two days coming up that we will need your help distributing door-hangers and picking up bags of food.  The dates are:

Saturday, 03/10: Distribute Door Hangers

Saturday, 03/17: Pick Up Bags of Food and Deliver to the WSFB

For both days we will be meeting at 9:00 AM at the small green space across from the Admiral Congregational United Church, 4320 SW Hill St.  The first day we will be putting hangers on people’s doors to let them know we will be back the next week to pick up any food donations.  For the second day, we pick up those bags of food and deliver them to the food bank, then help them to sort it.

Please try to attend both days, the more help we have, the faster it goes.

Be sure to wear your Class A uniforms!

2018 Blue and Gold Banquet

Come celebrate the birthday of the Cub Scouts at our annual “Blue & Gold” dinner!  A delicious meal of pizza, salad and desserts will be provided by the Wolf den.

Siblings and friends are encouraged to attend!

Scouts, please remember to wear your Class A uniforms, this is a formal Scout event!

We hope to see you at Holy Rosary, Wednesday 2/21, at 6:30pm for the Pack’s Blue and Gold Banquet!

Scout Sunday 2018

Scouts will wear their “Class A” uniforms while welcoming, ushering, and assisting with the collection at both masses (8:30 & 10:30). Please contact Cubmaster Eddie Osten (eosten@outlook.com) with the mass time you would like to participate in so we can get a head count.
