Webelos and Arrow of Light Scouts (who were Bear and Webelos Scouts prior to June) are invited to experience an overnight Boy Scout campout. Have fun in the outdoors, learn camping skills, work on rank requirements, and meet Boy Scouts and adult leaders from your neighborhood Troops.
When we get to camp, we’ll form Patrols and then do everything together using the Boy Scout Patrol Method. We’ll setup campsites, cook our own meals over the fire and in dutch ovens, have a campfire and cracker-barrel, participate in lots of fun Boy Scout activities, and even work on some Webelos and Arrow of Light rank requirements. See you ’round the campfire!
Ideally, each Scout will enjoy the weekend with his parent or guardian. If some adults are unable to attend, each Pack must meet at least the required 1-8 adult-to-Scout ratio. Den Leaders and Cubmasters, this is a great opportunity to learn how to plan a great overnight event for your Pack or Den. There will also be a special training to help you plan a high quality Webelos/Arrow of Light program.

Pack 793 is looking for a few good scouts and a couple of adults to help with the monthly community meal at OLG on Sunday, August 27, from 11:30am-2:30pm. This is a great opportunity for our Pack to give back to the community. Scouts will assist in serving drinks and clearing dishes. Adults will help with taking orders and serving food.
The community meal is a monthly, free sit-down meal held at OLG in the Walmesley Center/Gymnasium. Everyone in the community is invited to attend. It is conducted ‘restaurant style’ where the guests are served at their tables. The goal is to provide a hot meal once a month for those in our community, in particular for those who may not regularly have a hot meal. Inviting the whole community provides a way for all of us to share a meal and conversation together.
Please use the RSVP link here to sign up. Adults, please enter your scout’s name in the area for “guests”.
