January Pack Meeting = Marble Tournament
We supply the marbles, mats and instructions. You supply the scout and bring encouragement as the scouts work on their marble skills!
Siblings and friends are encouraged to attend!
We hope to see you at Holy Rosary Wednesday 01/24 at 6:30PM for the Pack meeting!
Come make your own Christmas tree ornaments. The pack provides the supplies and tools and you bring your creativity. Refreshments will be served. Wear your Class B shirts as it might get messy. This meeting is for the entire family. Everyone is welcome to join in making ornaments. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in scouting to participate and learn more about Pack 793. Please direct any question to Eddie Osten (email@example.com).
The fun begins Wednesday, 12/6, in the Holy Rosary School Hall at 6:30pm.
Chief Seattle’s niece at her Shilshole home, 1901
The people known today as the Duwamish Tribe are the Dkhw’Duw’Absh, “The People of the Inside”. We are the people of Chief Seattle. We are the First People of the City of Seattle, Mercer Island, Renton, Bellevue, Tukwila and much of King County, Washington. We have never left our ancestral homeland. We are bringing the strengths of our Native Nation, our culture, our teachings, and our Native values with us into the 21st Century.
Wednesday 11/15 at 6:30 PM we will be meeting at the Duwamish Longhouse instead of Holy Rosary. This is a special night in that we have a Native American Storyteller to share the stories of the native peoples of our local area.

The scouts will first construct a sea-worthy vessel to race and then we will determine who has the lung power to see their vessel through to the finish line! This will be one nautical journey you won’t want to miss! All building materials will be provided.

It’s time for Cub Scouts to officially start for 2017/18! We are looking forward to another great year for Pack 793, and we’ll be kicking things off Wednesday 09/13 at 7:00pm in Lanigan Gym at Holy Rosary.
Please join us to hear about this year’s popcorn sale and to say hello to new members. We will also be having s’mores! Siblings are welcome, and please bring any friends that may be interested in scouting!
Pack 793 is looking for a few good scouts and a couple of adults to help with the monthly community meal at OLG on Sunday, August 27, from 11:30am-2:30pm. This is a great opportunity for our Pack to give back to the community. Scouts will assist in serving drinks and clearing dishes. Adults will help with taking orders and serving food.
The community meal is a monthly, free sit-down meal held at OLG in the Walmesley Center/Gymnasium. Everyone in the community is invited to attend. It is conducted ‘restaurant style’ where the guests are served at their tables. The goal is to provide a hot meal once a month for those in our community, in particular for those who may not regularly have a hot meal. Inviting the whole community provides a way for all of us to share a meal and conversation together.
Please use the RSVP link here to sign up. Adults, please enter your scout’s name in the area for “guests”.
It’s already time for our final Pack Meeting of the school year! Please join us this Weds. 05/24 at 6:30 in Lincoln Park. We will be meeting at Picnic Shelter #1, closest to the south parking lot. We will start things off with a BBQ with hamburgers and hotdogs, then there will be exciting new live entertainment, to be followed by a very special rank advancement ceremony, and finally a campfire with s’mores to complete the evening. Bring the whole family and your friends to this big event!
It’s time to dust off the camping gear and join the Pack for our spring campout! We will be heading back to beautiful Camp Fire Mountain near Mt. Vernon. The amenities are great, so don’t be afraid, and the trout fishing is even better, so bring your poles (no license required at the camp). The camp has canvas tents and cabins with bunks available for sleeping, unless you want to bring your own tent. To keep waste and garbage to a minimum this campout, we are asking everyone to bring their own food and mess kits for eating- we will provide the s’mores on Saturday night. Don’t worry if you don’t have camping cookware, there will be stoves, pots and pans, etc. available. Siblings are welcome at this campout, as usual. If you have any questions, contact your Den Leader, or Cubmaster Eddie Osten, firstname.lastname@example.org. See you there!
