Join us for Scouting for Food!

Scouting For Food 2017

It’s time again for us to get out and help the West Seattle Food Bank collect food for any of our neighbors in need.  We had a great year last year, and with a little effort, I’m sure we can collect even more food this year.  This is a great way for our Pack to put in some service hours.  There are two days coming up that we will need your help distributing door-hangers and picking up bags of food.  The dates are:

Saturday, 03/11: Distribute Door Hangers

Saturday, 03/18: Pick Up Bags of Food and Deliver to the WSFB

For both days we will be meeting at 9:00 AM at the small green space across from the Admiral Congregational United Church, 4320 SW Hill St.  The first day we will be putting hangers on people’s doors to let them know we will be back the next week to pick up any food donations.  For the second day, we pick up those bags of food and deliver them to the food bank, then help them to sort it.

Please try to attend both days, the more help we have, the faster it goes.

Be sure to wear your Class A uniforms!

Christmas is almost upon us!  That means it’s time for our December Pack Meeting this Wednesday, 12/14 at 6:30pm in the Holy Rosary School Hall.  We will be making Christmas tree ornaments again, but this year we will also have a special treat.  To celebrate our fantastic popcorn sales, we will be serving pizza for everyone (that includes parents, siblings and friends).  We will also be handing out the prizes to those popcorn sellers that earned them.  And, with any luck, if we have enough boys that are on the nice list, Santa Claus will be making an appearance!

This meeting is for the whole family- everyone is welcome to join in making ornaments and eating pizza, so please be sure to join us!

Merry Christmas!
